Great wardrobe
I bought this wardrobe this morning and after an hour and a half taking my time putting it together, I am now admiring it in my bedroom. I am a flatpack novice starter, but instructions are very clear and easy to follow, just had to wait for hubby to come home to help carry it into bedroom as it is quite heavy. It is a lovely colour, has a nice finish and seems very solid and sturdy - the soft close doors are an added bonus and the handles are lovely. Excellent value for money - am going back tomorrow morning to get another for the spare room.

Terrible product and service
I bought this 10 days ago and after putting the body up, noticed the hinge doesn't fit in the hole on the door, phoned up, the guy on the phone said might be the wrong size of hinge, and will exchange the door/ hinge part ( can't deliver on the date we needed this either so we had to wait for 4 days) After we looked into this online, this might be the manufacturer problem that the hinge will be a standard size, it's the size of the hole on the door should be corrected. I'm waiting for the delivery, but if it comes in with the same problem, I will definitely put a proper complaint in.

Easy Construction
The wardrobe was very simple to put together, I managed it on my own, took less than an hour. It was very sturdy when complete. A good buy

Easy assembly
I bought this to serve as storage for vacuum cleaner, brooms etc in an alcove in the entrance passage of an extension. I wanted an item without legs so that I could cut something off the depth to fit it to the alcove, for which this wardrobe was already a suitable width. Note that the quoted width in B&Q's description is for the top that sits on and slightly overhangs the carcass. The carcass itself is 4mm smaller. I needed to take 15cms off the back of it to fit my alcove so I assembled it intact and added some extra securing brackets as half the supplied fixings would be removed when I cut it to size. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow and I had no problem assembling it on my own, without a helper. The panels are of good quality and cutting them left a nice clean finish. I would not have attempted this process with an expensive, solid wood piece of furniture but this item seemed well suited for what I intended. The result is a functional storage unit and I am pleased I bought this flatpack. It looks like what it is, namely budget wood-effect laminate furniture but it does not look tacky. I will be furnishing the bedroom with proper wood furniture but, if you are happy with laminate, then this Elsey Oak Effect wardrobe is of acceptable quality and should present no problems in assembly.

Great wardrobe
I ordered it from my local store. It was delivered in 3 days. Very easy to assemble. The soft close door feature is also very good.
